IVC's Charity Booth at the 11th Vietnam-Japan Festival

In March 2026, the vibrant atmosphere of Ho Chi Minh City became even more meaningful as we joined the 11th Vietnam-Japan Festival. Under the inspiring theme, "Holding hands together, Children of the Earth - The Future," IVC was proud to participate in the Charity Market hosted by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in HCMC (JCCH).

Small Items, Big Hearts

Our booth was filled with high-quality, pre-loved items generously donated by our employees. Instead of letting them go to waste, our team contributed the clothes, shoes, electric items and bags that were still in excellent condition to be sold at the fair. This initiative was about our team coming together to turn personal contributions into a collective force for good.

 

Empowering the Future at SOS Children’s Village Go Vap

We are honored to announce that 100% of the proceeds from our booth will be donated to SOS Children’s Village Go Vap. This contribution holds a special place in our hearts, as IVC has walked hand-in-hand with the children of this village for the past three years.

Knowing that our efforts help provide these children with better education and care is the greatest reward we could ask for.

ISB Vietnam's Hope Filled Story - From Heart To Action

On a day near the end of June, we had the privilege of revisiting the SOS Children's Village together with our company's BOD. As we arrived, a gentle afternoon rain began to fall, yet it only seemed to enhance the cool and peaceful atmosphere that always pervades the village. We were enveloped in a genuinely warm welcome from Mr. Long, the village director, whose hospitality always makes us feel right at home. This particular visit held special significance as it was the very first time our company's general director had the opportunity to experience the village firsthand. Mr. Long graciously took the time to once again introduce the intricacies of daily life within the village to our general director, sharing insights into their unique family model.

The village itself is thoughtfully designed with numerous individual homes, and in each one, a dedicated "mother" lovingly cares for approximately eight children. These children represent a wide range of ages, from precious newborns to energetic teenagers around 15 or 16 years old. It was truly touching to see how the older children naturally take on roles of responsibility, helping their "mothers" look after their younger siblings, fostering a strong sense of family and mutual support. Our hearts ached seeing the tiny new arrivals, children who had just been abandoned and entered the village mere days before, still grappling with the unfamiliarity of their new surroundings. Their vulnerability was palpable and deeply moving. However, as we observed the loving environment and heard about the comprehensive care they receive, knowing they are cherished by their mothers and older siblings, a profound sense of reassurance settled over us. We left feeling confident that these children, despite their challenging beginnings, are in a place where they can truly thrive.

Our company's staff had meticulously prepared each gift, carefully packing them with genuine affection and heartfelt wishes for the children. As these humble presents were handed over, we truly hoped that they would bring a measure of comfort and joy, contributing to a slightly easier path for these young lives who have already faced so much adversity from birth. Though our visit was confined to just a few short hours, the connection we felt was deep. We earnestly hope that the warmth and attention extended by all the "aunts and uncles" from our company will serve to truly warm the children's innocent hearts, allowing them to feel profoundly loved, cared for, and supported by others in their lives. It's crucial for them to understand that they are never, ever alone.

Moving forward, we are more committed than ever to doing our utmost to continue walking alongside these children and collaborating closely with the village leadership. Our aim is to help cultivate an even more comfortable and nurturing environment for them, ensuring they have every opportunity to grow and flourish. This experience is not merely about giving; it is a profound exchange. From the children, we received invaluable lessons on resilience, the power of community, and the true meaning of life itself. Their spirit enriches us beyond measure.

A Heartwarming Journey Back to SOS Children's Village Go Vap

In December 2024, we had the privilege of revisiting SOS Children's Village Go Vap for a heartwarming charity trip. This visit was more than just an act of giving; it was an opportunity to reconnect, reflect, and witness the positive changes in the lives of the children we care so much about.

As we arrived, we were greeted with smiles that seemed even brighter than before. The children—many of whom we had met on previous visits—looked more grown-up, their eyes shining with joy and hope. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and it was clear that the nurturing environment of SOS Village continued to play a significant role in their development.

How IVC joins hands to support a sustainable future

As a leading Japanese software outsourcing company in Vietnam, IVC is not only committed to delivering top-notch technological solutions but also to making a positive impact on the environment and society. The first is a brief introduction about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is a set of 17 global goals established by the United Nations in 2015. These global goals serve as a roadmap for creating positive change on a global scale, and we believe that every business has a role to play in achieving them.

Christmas 2023 - The Season of Love

We are writing to share the heartening experience we had at the SOS Village during our recent Christmas charity event at the beginning of December 2023. We had the opportunity to bring a touch of joy to the lives of abandoned children by providing them with Christmas gifts, a gesture that we believe resonated deeply with all of us.

The event was a resounding success, with numerous volunteers from our organization contributing their time and effort to ensure that the day was special for every child. We managed to distribute an array of gifts, aiming to cater to the interests and needs of the children.

Our team's dedication was evident in the meticulous planning and execution of the event. From selecting appropriate gifts to organizing entertaining activities, every detail was thoughtfully considered. The smiles and laughter of the children were a clear indication of the impact we made.

We would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to each one of you for your generous donations and volunteer work. Your compassion and commitment to giving back to the community are what make our team extraordinary. It is actions like these that truly embody the spirit of the season.

Goal 12 - IVC participated
in the campaign “Clean Up
The World 2022"

One of the important Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that IVC is striving towards in this year is to ensure sustainable consumption and production pattern (Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production).

Nowadays, with the tendency of applying science and technology, electronic devices are becoming more and more popular and indispensable in the production activities of enterprises as well as in daily life. Accordingly, electronic waste (e-waste) disposal is becoming a major problem of the whole society.

Proper collection and recycling of e-waste is the key to protect the environment and reduce climate-damaging emissions. And this target was the main motivation for IVC to participate in the campaign of “Clean Up The World” held at Aeon Mall Tan Phu (Ho Chi Minh City) in two days of September 24 & 25, 2022.

 

In response to this meaningful campaign, in the morning of September 24, 2022 (Sat), IVC’s representatives brought the company's e-wastes to the booth of “Vietnam Recycles Company” at this campaign so that these e-wastes could be treated safely in accordance with the professional process that meets the standards of environmental law.

We believe that by spreading the good meaning of these kinds of community activities, not only IVC employees but also their families, friends will gradually form the habits of proper e-waste disposal and environmental protection.

Goal 3 - Donate Blood Save Lives

Donating blood is one of our company (IVC) ‘s CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities vs SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

The company supports the staffs’ activity participation by allowing us to donate blood during working hours.

This is not the first time for all of us to donate blood but the first experience we can donate blood as IVC employees working out of office.

“It was the first time I donated blood in Vietnam. I went to the donation center alone. I had no idea of the process but Vietnamese people helped me. Thanks a lot!!” (Nagae)

“It was a bit surprising to see much more people in the donation center than I had imagined. As a foreigner, I expected the cumbersome procedure but the whole blood donation experience was pleasant except for the needle... The sense of contribution to society was very worth the big needle to me.” (Noe)

 “This is my first time donating blood. It is a good start to the next one. I feel happy to have made a small contribution to society.” (Khuong)

“I'm happy to join in this voluntary social contribution activity. I believe that showing and spreading love is something that each of us should pursue in our life. Let's join this activity with me!” (Hanh)

“In the past, my loved one was in critical condition and needed a lot of blood to continue treatment. At that time, my family was very lucky to receive the blood of a volunteer. That's why I understand better than anyone what the meaning of a drop of blood is. And when I received the message from the blood donation center that my blood has been used for the patient, I was really happy.” (Tien)

 “Despite a long time of research, scientists have been unable to develop an ideal blood substitute. There is currently no substitute for human blood. Donating blood is giving the gift of life. I love donating blood and I will encourage more colleagues, friends, family members to become regular blood donors.” (Thuy)
